Whether you’re shooting outdoors during the golden hour or filming in a dimly lit interior, Handycam® camcorders are in their element. All HD models feature the Exmor R™ CMOS Sensor, which offers approximately twice the sensitivity compared to conventional CMOS camcorders – so you can capture High Definition detail in low light conditions.

Filming at a party? The iAuto Face Detection feature recognises people’s faces in the frame, optimising picture quality for lighting and skin tone - whether you’re shooting video or still portraits.

Smile Shutter automatically shoots still photos when your camcorder detects someone is smiling.

And new Closer Voice recognises when someone is speaking and minimises background noise accordingly.
