  1. 1 Translucent mirror Unlike traditional DSLR cameras, there’s no need to raise and lower the mirror. This innovation enables ultra-fast continuous shooting at class-leading speeds of up to 12 fps.

Translucent Mirror Technology lets you stay focused on moving subjects, even during high-speed burst shooting. SLT cameras by Sony eliminate the moving mirror found in conventional DSLR cameras. Instead, a portion of light entering the camera falls continuously onto a dedicated phase detection AF sensor.
