3D Sweep Panorama: how it works

3D images combine shots from two or more different angles. But unlike other 3D still cameras that need two lenses, Cyber-shot cameras with 3D Sweep Panorama technology achieve the same effect with just one lens. As you sweep the camera, Cyber-shot shoots a high-speed burst of up to 100 frames. The powerful processor inside Cyber-shot analyses and combines this information to build a full 3D picture. Put on a pair of 3D glasses and you’ll see a fully three-dimensional, panoramic image on your 3D TV.
