Eco-aware WE5 Series is available in 40-inch and 46-inch screens.

The energy efficiency of a BRAVIA WE5 begins with its new micro-tubular HCFL backlight, delivering the same great TV picture but using half the energy of traditional bulbs. It reduces the power consumption of the BRAVIA WE5 by more than 50% compared to previous LCD TVs.*

The BRAVIA WE5 also has additional smart eco-features including an intelligent Presence Sensor with heat and motion detectors which turn off the TV if nobody is watching. Or use the Energy Saving Switch and turn off the TV completely to zero power usage.

BRAVIA TVs have eco-settings built-in

Start reducing energy costs straight away with the latest BRAVIA TVs. Set the eco-features on your TV menu to suit your viewing habits and you could watch the savings roll in. ‘Idle TV’ mode switches the TV to standby if there’s no user activity within a set time. ‘Light sensor’ mode automatically reduces backlight levels for comfortable viewing in dim light. Or adjust screen brightness yourself using ‘Power saving’ mode – you can even turn the picture off if you only want to listen to music.
