I can only connect to the web using an Ethernet cable - any ideas why the wireless connection won't work?

I have another identical laptop which connects fine (VGN-NW26M), but for some reason the other will not dispaly any web pages.  When i look at the connection, the laptop says it is connected to the router etc...  I'm stumped!
