new here and looking for help.
my 5 year old vaio vgn-n11m has recently started getting very slow download speeds.
only about 5mbps when i should get at least 14mbps.
other devices seem fine - it's just my laptop.
is it possible something is just out of date?
can it be fixed?
do i need to get a new laptop?
all help appreciated 
Can you try to turn on every computer one at a time?
Run your speed test, and if it succeeds, turn on the next computer/device and do the same.
Hopefully you can single out the source of your Internet speed problem.
