how can I unformat an DVD+RW formated accidentally on my handycam?

    Hi sonyalexb, welcome to the Sony Forums

     

    You might get some results using recovery software such as Badcopy although I haven't used it for years..

     

    A professional data recovery firm will be expensive, but will give you the best possible chance of retrieving and must-have files.

    You can unformat your hard drives or your flash drives, but not sure if there's any way to unformat or recover your files from your formatted DVD+RW.

    I used BadCopy Pro and succeeded to save to the hard disk all the lost videos!!

    I even found a record 2 years ago !

    I have used File Scavenger for years and think it works very very well, but I'm not sure if it will work on CDs or DVDs
