The digital wireless system for the digital future

Created for use in live events and in broadcast TV studios, the DWX range seamlessly brings wireless microphone technology into the digital domain. DWX is the no-compromise, ultimate quality choice that ensures a seamless transition to Channel 38 in 2012.

Sony's WiDIF-HP codec delivers outstanding performance

World-leading expertise

The DWX range offers world-leading digital microphone expertise, including the superb new WiDIF-HP codec which captures the subtlety of analogue but adds the advantages of an all-digital architecture.

Preserving the nuances of a human voice while passing it through a totally digital system is a huge technical challenge, but our new WiDIF-HP codec was designed from scratch to deliver the outstanding audio performance demanded by world-class performers and studios.

DWX with WiDIF-HP delivers:

  • Robust signal with flexible multi-channel operation.
  • Secure audio path with encryption.
  • 24-bit audio with a 20Hz-20 KHz response and no signal degradation.

A new era in wireless audio.

In addition, all DWX install systems feature our unique Cross Remote technology. With bidirectional exchange of metadata, it allows remote control of microphone settings from the receiver.

The DWX range marks the beginning of a new era in live stage and broadcast audio equipment – not just because it’s all-digital, but because this user-focused technology comes in the smallest, lightest and most ergonomic packages available.
